Implant Enema

An implant enema is where a small amount of a specialized enema solution is injected into the rectum and usually held until absorbed or a specified amount of time. These enemas are usually used for a medicinal reason.

The syringe most often used for this type of enema is a piston type syringe or a bulb syringe. These syringes can come in sizes from 1 oz. up to 26 oz.

Normally the recommended amount of implant solution is around 8 to16 fluid ounces. Sometimes as much as a quart is used. When using as much as a quart it is difficult to hold for long periods of time.  You might want to try using a retention plug this type of device allows you to relax while still retaining the solution.
